The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services for the community.

SASSA will be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it's alarmed concerning the high variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is a result sassa of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office focused on service the area regularly. The service stage developed for intervention encounters a higher influx of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to empower the servicing of all consumers and raise use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
